    Patrice Bongrand, tout jeune, était déjà passionné par les arbres,de 1980 à 1990,
    Il découvrit le bonsaï, ce fut la passion.
    Rencontre déterminante avec un maître japonais,
    La Voie Naturelle en Bonsaï, un cheminement vrai et sincère avec les arbres.
    Participa pendant plusieurs années, à des congrès français,européens,démonstrateur,
    Et conférencier aux arts japonais, obtint de nombreux prix nationaux,internationaux,
    Il a écrit plus de 120 articles sur le bonsaï et art associé, dans différentes revues spécialisés.
    Patrice eut l'idée de créer, avec son épouse Corinne, en Cévennes,
    À cause du climat ensoleillé et des nuits fraîches.
    Et c'est là, que naquit le Jardin Arboretum de Bonsaï de Mialet.
